The Golden Years Summit
The Golden Years Summit is Compassion by Design's premier national conference dedicated to advancing healthy aging, caregiving, wellness, and community well-being through education, innovation, collaboration, and leadership. Designed as an annual hybrid conference, the inaugural Golden Years Summit is scheduled for December 2027 and will bring together family caregivers, older adults, healthcare professionals, long-term care providers, public health leaders, researchers, educators, nonprofit organizations, policymakers, emergency management professionals, corporate partners, and community advocates from across the United States.
Through nationally recognized keynote speakers, expert-led educational sessions, interactive workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences, the Summit equips participants with practical strategies, evidence-informed resources, and innovative solutions to improve health outcomes, strengthen caregiving, and support aging with dignity. Educational topics include healthy aging, caregiver wellness, dementia and Alzheimer's disease, chronic disease management, behavioral and mental health, health equity, healthcare navigation, emergency preparedness, workforce development, technology and innovation, public policy, and community resilience.
The Summit also serves as a platform for professional development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the exchange of best practices among leaders working across healthcare, public health, higher education, government, nonprofit organizations, and community-based services. Participants will have opportunities to earn continuing education credits and professional certifications while building partnerships that drive meaningful and lasting change.
