Compassion by Design is developing a series of flagship initiatives designed to support those who care for older adults – including family caregivers, professional caregivers, nursing home staff, and hospital teams. These initiatives are currently in development, intentionally designed to provide essential education, practical resources, and meaningful community connection.
Together, these programs aim not only to support caregivers in their day-to-day roles, but also to advocate for them—helping to shift culture, elevate caregiving as essential work, and foster a more compassionate approach to elder care across systems and communities.

The Golden Years SummitA premier conference on healthy aging, caregiving, and community wellness, bringing together nationally recognized experts, healthcare professionals, caregivers, community leaders, policymakers, researchers, and advocates to explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and inspire meaningful action. Through dynamic keynote presentations, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and community partnerships, the Summit advances healthier, more connected, and age-friendly communities.
Prepared Caregiver CornerA comprehensive caregiver education and preparedness initiative designed to equip family caregivers with the knowledge, practical tools, and trusted resources needed to confidently navigate every stage of the caregiving journey. From daily care strategies and emergency preparedness to self-care, planning, and resource navigation, the Corner empowers caregivers to provide compassionate, informed, and resilient care
The Legacy Forum SeriesCompassion by Design's signature educational series bringing together healthcare professionals, caregivers, community leaders, researchers, and advocates for expert-led conversations on healthy aging, caregiving, wellness, health equity, and compassionate care. Through engaging presentations, practical learning, and meaningful dialogue, the Legacy Forum Series inspires collaboration and equips participants to create healthier, more connected communities.
Heroes Behind the Scenes (coming soon) Coming soon from Compassion by Design, Heroes Behind the Scenes is a storytelling and recognition initiative that will celebrate the caregivers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, advocates, and community champions whose compassion and dedication transform lives every day. Through inspiring stories and community spotlights, we'll honor the people whose quiet acts of service create lasting impact.

Advocacy & Culture Change: Across all initiatives, Compassion by Design is embedding advocacy and culture change as foundational priorities. Through awareness-building, partnerships, and collaboration with stakeholders and policymakers, the organization is working to advance a care culture where compassion, dignity, and respect are the standard—for both elders and those who care for them.
