Heroes Behind the Scenes, presented by Compassion by Design, is a special celebration created to recognize the caregivers, advocates, volunteers, professionals, community champions, and everyday heroes whose compassion, commitment, and service strengthen families and communities.

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of recognition, storytelling, connection, and celebration as we shine a light on individuals whose contributions are too often unseen—but whose impact is undeniable.

During the celebration, Compassion by Design will present three signature honors:

The Guardian Award — honoring those who protect, support, and stand beside others when they are needed most.

The Heart Award — recognizing individuals whose compassion, kindness, and service have made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The Legacy Award — celebrating those whose leadership, service, and lasting contributions continue to strengthen families and communities.

Heroes Behind the Scenes is more than an awards event. It is an opportunity to say thank you to the people who quietly show up, give of themselves, and make life better for others.
