Sharron Williams, BSN, RN, ACHC-Certified Consultant is the Prepared Caregiver Corner™ Founding Expert for the Compassion by Design Legacy Forum Series. With more than 40 years of nursing experience, she is a nationally respected educator, healthcare consultant, and advocate dedicated to strengthening caregivers, healthcare professionals, and home care organizations.
Throughout her distinguished career, Sharron has served in a wide range of clinical and leadership roles, including field nurse, Director of Clinical Services, Alternate Administrator, Staff Development Coordinator, Case Manager, and home health consultant. She spent 10 years at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital and more than 20 years leading clinical operations within the home health and home care industry.
As the owner of Optimal Healthcare Solutions, Sharron provides consulting services to home health and home care agencies, helping organizations establish compliant, high-quality programs while preparing administrators and owners for successful state surveys. An ACHC-Certified Consultant and continuing education provider, she delivers monthly CEU training for healthcare leaders on regulatory compliance, leadership, quality improvement, and agency growth.
A passionate educator, Sharron has presented extensively on dementia care and has devoted her career to equipping healthcare professionals and family caregivers with practical knowledge that improves care and strengthens communities. Her commitment to public service also includes 21 years of military service, serving as a Commissioner with the Denver Commission on Aging, and an appointment by the Governor of Colorado to the Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging (SAPGA).
Sharron earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University and later completed the Legal Nurse Consultant Program at Metropolitan State College. Her decades of experience, compassionate leadership, and unwavering commitment to caregiver education make her a trusted voice in healthcare and emergency preparedness.
